+ Staff were very friendly, went out of their way to help. Breakfasts were great on the roof terrace and the room was always clean and tidy. 5-10 min walk into Tavira for restaurants.

+ We stayed in an apartment for 4 people and were very pleasantly surprised by the standard of comfort and facilities on offer - and especially the great view from the roof terrace. (NB the residencial is around the corner from the road that's given as the address - a bit disconcerting when you arrive)

+ Very friendly staff, made you feel like part of the family. The Residencial is a very informal place. Nice breakfast in the roof terrace, best orange juice I have tasted. Nice to see that they now had table cloths as one other guest had commented. Very clean and probably the biggest rooms I have stayed in for some time, and right in the center of town.

- Wifi, was patchy, and the Residencial is trying to get that fixed. Portuguese Telecom was their trying to fix it. Cable TV was installed the day we left, so the next time I can watch a movie late at night. Breakfast could be better, but when I asked for fresh fruit, it was brought to me in minutes. Some rooms have been decorated but not all, and manager says that all will be done before Aug08.

+ The town of Tavira is lovely, the position of the hotel is not great but at no time did we feel unsafe.

We spoke to the current owner who has recently taken the hotel and there will be good changes happening shortly.

+ la camera era spaziosa e pulita. c'era anche il frigo bar e la macchina per il caffè. il parcheggio esterno all'hotel era gratuito e non era difficile trovare posto per parcheggiare. piacevole anche la colazione sul terrazzo.

- la camera non è dotata di imposte. la mattina la luce in camera entrava molto presto.

+ La ubicación, el trato del personal (simpáticos y agradables) y el desayuno (para tratarse de un "hostal" el desayuno fue muy bueno, con excelente zumo y bollería artesanal portuguesa). El apartamento era amplio y espacioso.

- Los muebles del apartamento son antiquísimos, con fuerte olor a viejo y antiguo. Necesitan un cambio urgente. No hay ascensor y es un inconveniente. En general caro para las prestaciones ofrecidas, no hay servicio de habitación diario (cambio de toallas, camas...)

+ Hotel è decisamente da consigliare: camere dotate di macchina per caffè/the, connessione wireless, aria condizionata, e una super colazione in terrazza con pasticceria fresca, pane, cereali, succhi...insomma ha tutto per essere consigliato!.

+ Simpatia do acolhimento. Resolução imediata do problema surgido por um dos quartos ter cama de casal e não 2 camas separadas. Limpeza imaculada. Café e chá nos quartos.

- Pequeno almoço com fiambre e queijo também. Corta ventos no terraço do pequeno almoço. Toalhas nas mesas (mesmo de papel).

+ El personal de el hotel es muy agradable y amable. La habitación tiene nevera con lo que se puede ahorrar en las comidas en la calle ya q no son nada baratas.

- El desayuno tiene que ser en la terraza, si no hace aire se está muy bien, pero es posible que la tostada salga volando.
