Residencial Pôr do Sol in Tavira has been in business since 1990. Created by a family that believed in providing the absolute best for its guests. It all was created with that in mind.

As with life, all things change. In 2008, the Residencial passed from one family to another. The Carvalho family also believes in maintaining this high standard. A modernisation of the rooms began this summer and now all rooms have been re-designed to a level of Quality that we believe our guests are used to and more importantly, demand.

QUALITY

We are proud to have some of the largest rooms in central Tavira. Most rooms are 20 m2 or bigger, all with private bathrooms, heating and cooling, Cable TV channels, including FREE movie channels as well as children's channels. Our spacious rooms allow our guests to relax in a manner that is normal for the price paid for that privilege.

Located in the Center of Tavira, near the banks of the River Gilão, guests can now appreciate the space that each room or "mini-suite" has, with added amenities including in-room coffee and tea making facilities, robes and slippers for our guest's usage, one can now utilize the roof terrace for breakfast in the morning, or drinks in the afternoon, taking in the views over Tavira, the Ria Formosa Nature Reserve, the Salt pans and as far as the ocean.

STYLE

Re-designed with the help of a local Interior design company, we bring uniqueness to our guests. each room has a different look and feel. we have found that some of our regular guests ask for a room depending on their mood or their needs from their stay.

If it is a romantic time they are looking to have, then the room with a colour scheme that helps set and maintain the mood is allocated.

If it's work and business that brings you to stay with us, then the rooms with desk space for working and sharp clean colours are the most appropriate.

If it's PURE RELAXATION, then the rooms with a balcony and a sitting area allows our guests to catch up reading their current book, or just enjoying the sun that streams into their room.

The interiors of Residencial Hotel Por Do Sol, featuring soft tones, create an elegant atmosphere that is at once adapted to modern times and rich in the essence and philosophy.

With fully updated private bathrooms, one can now enjoy peace of mind, complimentary bathroom items that reminds one of time gone by.

All of our hotel rooms have Wi-Fi internet access, and in-room amenities. We also have a 2 bedroom apartment for rent that will serve for a family or friends to spend their holiday in the East Algarve in a apartment facility with a full kitchen.
